Block Kids Competition
January 20th at Brady Elementary School in Little Rock.
Please check-in in the front office (sign in and get a visitors sticker).
School dismisses at 2:35 which could make parking a little tricky. Arrive around 2:00 or 2:10.
We will be working in the cafeteria, which is directly across from the front office.
Students will be entering the cafeteria starting at 2:30. Students who are bus riders will leave from the cafeteria.
After school students will also be in the cafeteria. After the students who are not staying for tutoring leave, the after school kids will start the process for snack and RR.
We hope to start our introduction around 2:50.
We will try to coordinate the clean-up from snack and the passing out of materials after the introduction or opening.
We would like to have the work period begin at 3:05.
As students finish, we will ask them write a short paragraph about their work. Then we will begin to judge.
Judging needs to be completed by 4:20. Students need to be loaded on buses and leaving by 4:30.
If time permits, we will tally the scores and announce a winner.
If we run out of time, we will tally the scores after students leave.
