Valentine’s Day Dance for School of the Deaf
The annual Valentine’s Day Dance for the Arkansas School for the Deaf is coming up on Tuesday, February 11th! We’re requesting volunteers, sponsors, and goodie bag donations!
Volunteers:
Please consider joining us for this very special evening and celebrate Valentines Day with the Greater Little Rock Chapter and these wonderful kids! Volunteers will be responsible for setting up/decorating, interacting with the students, working at the Hershey Kiss rings table, serving food, and assisting with clean up.
Volunteers are asked to be there from 4:00 – 8:00 PM if possible.
Goodie Bag Donations:
Please consider giving a monetary donations of any size to go towards purchasing goodie bag items. Our committee will be shopping a few days before the dance! However, if you wish you donate the items themselves, examples are below. All items must be dropped off to the AGC office in LR or ABC office in Maumelle by February 5th or please contact Megan to coordinate a pickup.
Donation Item Examples:
Elementary Student Goodie bags (at least 9 of each item)
- Snack and Treats
- Pencils, erasers, bubbles, temporary tattoos, note pads, puzzles, etc.
Middle & High School Students (at least 35 of each):
- Snacks and Treats
- Fidget spinners, pop sockets, or similar items
- Practical company promo items (pens, flash drives, notepads, etc.)
Sponsorship:
If you or your company is interested in sponsoring the event please let us know ASAP so we can plan. All dollar amounts are welcome!
